The CHWH Apartment, which translates to Cool Head, Warm Heart, is a high quality fit-out of a Bangkok penthouse apartment, designed by
MCK Architects. With an emphasis on a sophisticated blend of clean architectural lines and contrasting finishes of quality materials to form a series of unique bespoke spaces. The application of a strong conceptual line of thought informed the process and shaped the final outcome being the Cool Head Warm Heart (CHWH) Apartment. The design offers a blend of respite from the Bangkok street with enough intimate areas that provide the ‘cosiness’ of a home. The owner was also genuinely involved in the design process and his ideals were often incorporated into the design and ultimately, into the finished product. Materials, furniture, furnishings and artwork were selected to sit harmoniously and to provide a high level of visual richness. The finished product is an amalgamation between contemporary and eastern ideals.
