A Biological pest control or bio control is often involved in the release of pathogens, predators, or parasites of pest species into the environment where the pest is causing a problem. • It can also be done by encouraging the growth of existing natural enemies in the ecosystem by providing suitable conditions or storming the ecosystem with mass reared natural enemies.

History of pest control in India

The earliest known example of pest control in India was in 1762. This was when the Indian mynah bird Acridotheres tristis was sent to Mauritius to aid in controlling the Red locust. Rodolia cardinalis was first imported from Australia during 1927-30 to control cottony cushion scale in Tamil Nadu. In Coonoor, Tamil Nadu the parasitoid Aphdinus mali was introduced for killing the apple woolly aphids. Many success stories all over the world led to the established of special facility for work on pest control in England by the imperial bureau of biological control.
How to control pests in the garden?

Many of you think that pest control is a self job and is also very easy to do. It is kind of correct thinking, but the most important thing is getting the appropriate and best knowledge of pest control, for example if you don’t read rhe instructions on the pest control usually the basic pest control then you may overdose or under dose the garden and the plants with the pesticides, which is very hazardous for the health of your lovely plants.
