There must have hardly been any owner of household who must have not wanted to know the effective methods that help one to get rid of ants. In such cases, the spray will work like magic wiping out almost entire colonies. The only protection required is that the area should be vacated for a few hours to let the chemicals do their job and ensuring the kids and pets do not come in contact with it.

There are also several home based methods that tell us how to kill ants effectively. They are – using of lemon juice so that the acids confuses the tracking system of ants; cinnamon and cinnamon essential oils along with peppermint oils that keep ants away and give the room a wonderful heady scent; chalk or chalk powder found in most home improvement stores; mopping the floor with vinegar etc.
